Filmed in the space of two days at Bow studios, London, Robbie said of the video: "At the last minute, we were like recording the Let Me Entertain You video, the next day, and I just went NO we're doing South Of The Border as a single."
"South Of The Border shouldn't have a) have ever been a single, and shouldn't have b) taken that quick to re do the whole idea for one video. So it wasn't the director's fault, he had about 10 minutes to go ‘right we're doing another song then...?'"
