The Wizard of Oz

RobbieWilliams.com brings you exclusive live footage and backstage clips from Down Under...

Gather round, everybody, gather round. Robbie's Close Encounters 2006 tour might now be over, but it’s certainly not forgotten.

In fact we’ve round up some never-seen-before, hot-off-the stage, so-new-it-squeaks live footage of Robbie onstage down under. But that’s not all...

We’ve also lined up for you some brilliant behind-the-scenes footage from the whole tour, where you’ll be able to what went on backstage. That’s right, below you can watch Robbie and crew warming up for their record-breaking Australian assault as you’ve never seen them before.

Robbie played nine incredible concerts down under, in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. And just like everywhere on his globe-spanning tour, he broke records and stunned the crowds.

His first Sydney and Melbourne shows sold out in an astonishing 30 minutes, while his stage show was the biggest ever produced in Australia. No wonder the Aussies were universal in their praise: “What a show it was,” said The Sunday Times. “Jaw-dropping,” said the Herald Sun. “Joyous,” said Adelaide’s Advertiser.

Highlights from his sensational shows include Robbie singing Come Undone in Perth, his fantastic rendition of Monsoon from Sydney, and his show-stopping Rock DJ from Adelaide. All here, for you to enjoy, exclusively on RobbieWilliams.com. Simply click on the links below to relive the magic...

But the treats just keep on coming...

Below you can see some fantastic clips of Robbie onstage in the city that saw him round it all up, Melbourne.

On top of that, we mustn't forget that Robbie was certainly not alone on tour, and with some of his band members taking the time out to keep everyone posted via their own blogs, we can get the latest from every angle on what went on out there.
Stephen Duffy, Gary Nuttall, Neil Taylor and Chris Coco all kept us posted through their websites and you can catch up with each of them by following the links below.
