Exclusive: The 2007 Robbie Calendar

It's that time of year again - the time of year when we are already looking forward to next year. Why?... because it brings with it a brand new Robbie Williams calendar, that's why!

The Robbie Williams 2007 official calendar will be in the shops soon and to celebrate we're giving you an advance peek into what delights you can expect. There are twelve more fantastic images of Robbie taken by the best in the world of photography to taking you all the way through 2007.

January

Taken by photographer Simon Niblett, this shot was taken during the rehearsals for the Close Encounters 2006 tour. The location was an amazing wine warehouse, part of the Constantia Uitsig estate, situated in Cape Town, South Africa. The video shoot for Sin Sin Sin had just taken place and it was time to prepare for a huge sell-out world tour. With only three days to get rehearsing, Robbie and his band and choir had a lot to fit in, but it all went smoothly and the first date of the Spring Leg went off with a bang receiving great reviews.

February

This picture was taken during the video shoot for Robbie's third single from the Intensive Care album, Sin Sin Sin. Simon Niblett catches this tranquil moment perfectly: Robbie taking advantage of some rare time out from playing the adored Guru to indulge in some relaxing yoga. The video was shot in sunny South Africa over three days and stars Robbie as the head of a commune of pregnant women. We get to see him in a very different light as he casts his spell over the ladies...

March

A beautiful close-up of Robbie singing his heart out - this awesome picture of Robbie perfectly captures the energy and emotion behind his live performances. This shot was taken during the Spring Leg of the Close Encounters 2006 tour by Simon Niblett.

April

Taken in Durban, South Africa whilst on a trip as UNICEF ambassador, this poignant shot of Robbie by Simon Niblett shows him deep in thought. He had just visited a family of four orphans whose parents had died of HIV-related illnesses. It was an extremely sad and moving story. This story featured in The Telegraph newspaper in May earlier this year, you can more here.

May

This rather eerie and atmospheric image was part of a series of photos taken by Rick Guest for the Close Encounters 2006 tour programme. As the name suggests, the theme was Close Encounters and all things sci-fi. "He wanted things like crops circles, UFOs and that whole vibe," said show producer, Lee Lodge, of Robbie's ideas.Slightly less alien is the the portrait of a very young boy that Robbie is holding in his right hand! Can you tell who it is yet?

June

Also taken from the Sin Sin Sin video shoot, this image shows a rather cool and suave Robbie - a rather different persona from the Guru in the video be-decked in beads and sporting a long grey beard.

July

Robbie blasts on to stage, quite literally, for the opening number of his set of the Close Encounters 2006 tour. Taken during the Dublin show in Croke Park. Appearing through the stage in a puff of smoke on June 9th 2006, Robbie burst onto stage belting out his massive hit, Radio.

August

August treats us to another gorgeous close-up of Robbie taken by Simon Niblett. Taken between the South African tour dates in April earlier this year, he is looking extremely relaxed... wouldn't you want to snuggle up to that?

September

Taken recently on a photoshoot this year - this moment, captured by photographer Charlie Lightening, takes Robbie back to his youth. Looking seriously cool perched on his Chopper and decked out in a bespoke Adidas tracksuit, is he dreaming of the 80s?

October

Stephanie Pistel took this great picture of Robbie on stage in Amsterdam. He played four sell-out dates at the Amsterdam Arena in The Netherlands to a total of 204ꯠ fans. Read more about the shows and check out the exclusive photos from the shows in Tours Archive.

November

Simon Niblett followed Robbie on parts of his Close Encounters 2006 tour which began back in April. This is fantastic action shot, catching Robbie in the middle of singing his heart out to the thousands who got their hands on a much coveted pair of tickets. Of course, he is never far from a beautiful woman... one here is seductively watching over him...

December

The pictures says it all...another beautiful shot of Robbie by Simon Niblett, this time on stage in South Africa. A snapshot of the vibrant visuals, created by Lee Lodge and his team, will get rid of any winter blues you might be feeling in December!
