The catchy tune is Robbie's fastest-selling single since Rock DJ hit the top spot 12 years ago with a staggering 138ꯠ copies sold this week… Wow.
Candy coming in at the Number 1 spot means that Robbie has secured his 14th career Number 1 (included both Take That and solo material), his first in eight years, drawing him level with friend and Candy co-writer Gary Barlow and pop legend Cliff Richard… the only British individuals ahead of them with 14 or more Number 1 singles are The Beatles!
